Aussie. The land of Koalas, Kangaroos, the Great Barrier Reef, the list goes on to infinitum without mentioning cars. Well being a humongous place, there must be a lot of crazy cars down there, so I flew down to the Gold Coast.

>> Superformance
	I firstly and foremostly went to the SUPERFORMANCE, a MOONEYES Dealer. This place is run by 4,5guys, but look at this place. Its colossal! The shop itself is basically a warehouse but is absolutely full of HOTROD parts. Darren, a staffmember there showed us around kindly.

>> To Surfers Paradise

While I was driving down the Pacific Highway, on my way to the Surfer's Paradise when I saw these 2 Street Rods cruising down, it was one of those K*dak moments. I got to the Surfer's Paradise when I realized that there were people in the ocean, on the beach, reading a book. The southern hemisphere is already starting to go into winter but it surely was paradise there.

Then I was on my way to COOLANGATTA, a small town 20km south of Surfers Paradise. This is where the WINTERSUN is held, and that is the biggest raddest Nostalgia Festival all year round on the Gold Coast. Sorta like the Aussie version of Paso Robles, USA. From May 30th to June 9th this year, the whole town was filled with HOTROD&KUSTOM. From Kid's to Adults, Girls and Boys, the whole town just parties all weekend long. They had cruises on street rods at night, and parades during the day, and it must be the same everywhere, but swarms of artists and pinstripers. COOLANGATTA sunsets seem to be beautiful thru the palm trees. It was one hell of a town!
