Chop Sticks CC has been hosting the bi-monthly cruise night for a long time but many people don’t know the full story behind this tradition. On the last Saturday of every other month, Cruisin’ Magazine completes their latest issue and it begins heading out to the news stands and shops. One of the main editors for Cruisin’ mag starting bringing the first batch of “hot off the press” magazines directly to MOONEYES that very night and people caught on and every other month, people would around in the parking lot, checking out the cars and bikes waiting for the editor to come around. He would show up just before Mooneyes Area-1 in Honmoku Yokohaam would close (8PM now a days) and after that, everyone would go for a short cruise from Area-1 to a nearby park before splitting up and going their separate ways. The tradition continues and MOONEYES keeps moving forward!
