Suzanne Williams, shown at left with her 1934 Ford Tudor Sedan and Robert Williams, shown at right with his 1932 Ford Roadster with vintage oval track racing livery/paint scheme will be attending the 19th Annual MOONEYES Hot Rod Custom Show 2010 in Yokohama, Japan on December 5th, 2010 at the Pacifico Yokohama International Exhibition Hall.
Within this one-day event bonanza will be a special exhibit of fine art, heavily influenced by the Kustom Kulture and Low Brow art scene leader, if not father/creator, Robert Williams and abstract fine artist Suzanne Williams. This gallery is titled Tribute to Robert Williams & Suzanne Williams and will include MOONEYES own pinstriper WILDMAN as well as many other artists from around Japan.

However, prior to this event, MOONEYES will host a special preview exhibit to the actual event, properly titled, Preview of Tribute to Robert Williams & Suzanne Williams. This special preview exhibit will be held from August 14-16 at MOONEYES Area-1 in Honmoku, Yokohama in their magically transformed garage-to-gallery-de-fine-art.
Preview of Tribute to Robert Williams & Suzanne Williams Event
In celebration of the arrival of Robert Williams to Japan, 13 Artist will commemorate a special event called, “Tribute to Robert Williams”. The Tribute to Robert Williams will take place at the show as a special event within HCS! These 13 artists are big names in Kusttom Kulture in Japan an have been heavily influenced by Robert Williams and decided to pay tribute to this special occation with an art exhibit and gallery. Visitors will be able to purchase these art pieces as well.
Confirmed Artists include Wildman, Mr.G, Makoto, Shakin’, T’s Design, Ghost, Jetwrench, Pulp, Knucle (3D Artist), Chop (3D Artist), Takayuki, Ken The Flat Top and Ware (3D Artist).

But first, before HCS in December and the special Tribute to Robert Williams event, this summer during OBON Week in Japan, from August 14 (Saturday) to August 16 (Monday), there will be a very special event at MOON Garage in Honmoku, Yokohama MOONEYES AREA-1! MOON Garage will be transformed into an art exhibit and gallery feature 14 Chosen Artists for the special event: PREVIEW OF “TRIBUTE TO ROBERT WILLIAMS”!
The artists include: Wildman, King Rat, Dirty K, Psycho, Fudemae, Boo, Krazy Dotty, Tomokuni, Casmin, MASA+, Johnny, Kurono, Derringer and Tokyo Guns
