MOON Ambassador goes to Australia again.
Visited Australia (OZ) again this year. In down under, OZ was already in fall, but weather there at the Gold Coast was fine crisp just like in California. Though little chilly at night daytime was comfortable with just T-shirts on. I think its nice place to stay after early retirement. Compared with Hawaii and other candidates, having only one-hour difference is nice for visiting from Japan. Flight hours are 10hours so about same as California but no time changes means easy on your body and soul. Road is wide, handle is on the right side, back than people used to say only England and Hong Kong has handles on right side other than Japan. But what do we know there were more. Surprise surprise. Please try visiting yourself too.

Our trip goal was not only car show but also to find Toyota Crown for sale. Soon after landed Brisbane, we visited MOONEYES DEALER SUPERFORMANCE and introduced MOONJECTION, received good attention. Than visited Paul's work shop "Smooth Cruzin". Lastly at Marks Garage where Altered 38 Fiat race car was Being made. This project will complete to run for next years Nostalgia Drag Race. With MOON Logo on the body we cant wait to see the finish. 　

As the sun went down we went on checking out the show. The main Street was already filled with cars cruising and band playing music. The town will be filled with Hot rods and Customs for 3days. Town was filled by the cars for three days. This event takes place every 2nd week of June at Coolangatta little town by the sea.

This is first time MOON had swap booth. Everything we brought were sold out in 2days as genuine MOON is hard to get in Australia. Melbourne Sydney and even from New Zealand people has came to visit and happy to see MOON at the show.

With weekend full of Hot Rod & Customs, next task was to finding Crown. First visited friend Alans shed, checking on the project Crown,

OZ population is tenth of Japan, and land in OZ is 20 Times larger than Japan so not very easy to find like in California. When you find one, 40 Years old car is not usually alive in one piece and 2 or 3 cars were put together to make one. And looking at treasure when you find one you have glazing sun light like California, which hide away the most unwanted sight. May be familiar with this trick.

Lastly visit to the Diablo motors, MOON Dealer since the Dean MOONS time. It was good to see the owner Jim again and flew back on the RED EYES night flight to Narita. Night flight is the way to go on this kind of trip.
