Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2011

20th Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2011にやって来る車&バイクのコンテナ積みがLong Beach, CA で終わりました。

Just finished loading all the guest bikes and cars for the 20th Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2011 in containers in Long Beach, CA today.

When ever this happens, that’s when it feels officially like we’re getting close. In about 3 weeks, the containers will arrive at the ports in Honmoku Yokohama.
We’re currently in the midst of tallying up the grand total of entries. I’m sure it’s something to do with the fact it’s the 20th show but a few years ago car entries were really down but this year it’s about 250 cars. Bikes are about the same as last year at around 300 bike spaces (about 600 bikes entries). Vendor booths, due to space, is around 250 but the show it packed full.
On schedule with sending out confirmations, we’ll begin doing that by mid-November. This year will be a spectacular show with everyone’s cooperation.
Hope to see you all there!

Also, this year the press/media passes are not going to be issued at the door on the event day. If you are with the media/press and would like to come to the show you have to apply ahead of time and no later than November 8 (Tues). Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Last week at the NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion, they had their 20th event and it was extremely crowded with Press people. The were all kinds of people trying to get a good position for photos during drag racing.
Long ago, you would see someone with a nice camera and know they were professionals but now a days it is hard to tell.
