お盆が近づくとBonneville Speed Weekです。
今年も行けませんでした。

Chico’s #533 Car の Class Record は昨年一気に 230MPH 位まで上がってしまったので
今年は Motor を壊す気でやらないと Record を Break するのは無理かもしれません。
さて還暦を迎えた Racer に期待しましょう！
With Obon Week (Japanese holiday) approaching, Bonneville Speed Week is happening now.
I didn’t make it out there this year.
MQQNEYES Official Photographer “Pan” Sumi is there and I’m positive he will take amazing photos.
The class record for the category Chico’s #533 car is running in is 230MPH. The only way to beat this record would be to push the motor to its limit even if it risks breaking it.
So I hope this 60 year old racer can do it!

移動中にトレーラーの MOON Disc が一枚飛んでしまったそうで、 後続隊が予備を持ってきてくれるそうです。
While traveling to Bonneville, one of the MOON Discs flew off the trailer. A second group heading from Santa Fe Springs will bring a replacement.

ヘルメットを被っていないとパトロールのポリスに捕まるそうです。スリフトショップで5ドルでヘルメット買いました。
Without a helmet, the police on patrol here will stop you. So we found this helmet a thrift shop for $5.
European Bug-In へ行った VW 2台、やっとオランダの港に行くようです。
いったい何時戻って来るのでしょうか？
The 2 VWs that were shipped to Europe for the European Bug-In have finally made it to the harbor in Holland. I just wonder exactly when they will be here in Japan?
