The 15th Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show (HCS) was hosted on Sunday 3rd December 2006 at Pacifico Yokohama in fine weather. In 2005 14th HCS was reported on NOOZ No.68 as highest number of entry and Guest but 15th HCS has over come that scale. The tight Space until 14th HCS was expanded to 1.6 time, invited Guest were 4 Show Cars, 8 Motorcycles and Guest were so many that couldn't tell how many people and countries they were from. It was hard to introduce everyone at Get Together Party held after set up day on Saturday night. HCS has became world wide recognized show as people came from USA, Australia, England, Sweden, Germany, France, Taiwan and more. Car Show with Suede Hot Rod & Kustom gathered at “Rat Island” had 250 cars and 500 Motorcycles and 150 Vender booth covered expanded event space but as the walking isles were wider than last year it was stress free for the attendance to look around. Also starting from this year, the Best of Show Motorcycle winner will be invited to the Premier booth at New Order Chopper Show hosted in Kobe on 2007. Plus the Winner at the New Order Chopper Show will be invited to next HCS 2007 at Premier booth. Motorcycles will be interesting with nationwide projects in 2007. The 2007 HCS will be held on Sunday December 2nd . Please check out the HCS 2006 DVD (release on Jan. 2007) and enjoy this years HCS. Next 2007 HCS will be on 75th anniversary year of 1932 Ford Deuce so 2007 HCS will gather many Deuce as possible. So owner of 1932 Deuce Please corporate. Thank you.

Wildman Ishii's Pinstripe College was 3rd tine in HCS and last year was not hosted but It came back with more intense 2 hours course. There were many people gathering to look at course And became very crowded college. This year there was student who came from Sweden to take course even though he spoke no Japanese But with his passion to learn Pin Stripe. Passion is important.

Rat Island

The pre 1948 Suede Hot Rod & Custom has been gathered at booth, Rat Island. This time net fence has covered the space with image of Backyard Garage and in factory area. Hot Rod and wire netting goes well together. In there the entire Guest from Dan Collins Was gathered and looked like it was in USA. This booth will be continued on Next year but Name Rat Island will be changed next year.
