GW のまっただ中 4日&5日(土日）熊本で開催された F.T.W. Show へ MQQN Space Agency Pan-kun こと Sumi-kun と出張してきました。
土曜日はブースを設営し夜は博多の California Cyclesさん を訪ねました。
飛行機や新幹線は空いていましたが 横浜からクルマで走って来た業者さんは渋滞で 21時間掛かったそうです。
In the middle of GW (Golden Week) on the 4th & 5th (Sat/Sun) the FTW Show was held in Kumamoto, Kyushu. I traveled down to the event with MQQN Space Agency Sumi "Pan".
Saturday night after we finished setting up the booth we visited California Cycles shop in Hakata.
It wasn't crowded by airplane or Shinkansen (Bullet Train) but we heard it took 21 hours to drive from Yokohama.
朝 2番位の便でしたが機内はガラガラでした。
席は Door Side です。
Although we took the second morning flight, it was empty inside.
My seat was next to the emergency exit.
熊本空港に到着すると さっそく Kumamon お出迎えです。
When we arrived at Kumamoto airport, we were immediately greeted by Kumamon.
土曜日はブース設営です。 完成した MQQNEYES Booth、 今回は結構完成度が高いです。
Saturday we setup the booth. This was the completed MQQNEYES Booth, which was a bigger booth than usual.
ブース設営後、 博多へ向かうため、 クルマで熊本駅へ送って頂きました。
市内に入ると懐かしい路面電車が走っていました。
After the booth was completed, we headed for Hakata and drove to Kumamoto Station. Saw this nostalgic streetcar while we were in the city.
熊本駅に停車中の熊本市電、 「チキンラーメン」 号
This "Chicken Ramen" theme Kumamoto Streetcar was stopped at Kumamoto Station.
熊本から博多へは 九州新幹線の 「つばめ」 を利用しました。
We took the Kyushu Shinkansen (Bullet Train) "Tsubame" from Kumamoto to Hakata.
室内は木目調で落ち着いた感じです。
The tone of the wood grain interior makes you feel calm.
シートも木目調です。
しかしガラガラです。
The seats are wood as well. This train was also empty.
ブラインドもご覧の様にスダレ調です。
「和」 の新幹線でした。
"Wa" is a symbol for Japanese style. This Shinkansen was Japanese style.
博多駅で自動改札に捕まった Map と Pan
At Hakata Station, Map and Pan were held up at the automated gates and needed assistance.
5/10 で MQQNEYES を退社する Matsuura-kun の送別会が California Cyclesさん で開催されました。
California Cycles threw a farewell party for Matsuura-kun who is leaving MQQNEYES on 5/10.
と、突然 MQQNEYES サインの入った大型トラックが California Cyclesさん の前を通過して行くではありませんか。
By chance, this semi-truck that had MQQNEYES signs on it drove past California Cycles.
F.T.W. Show での目玉でした。HONDA の 50cc が 4気筒になって CB750 の様です。
As special feature at F.T.W. (Forever Two Wheels) Show. HONDA 50cc bikes made to look like 4-cylinder CB750s.
今年の HCS2013、 Spotlight of Motorcycles は日本車ベースの Chopper です。
日本車ベースはハレーとかに比べてお手本が少ないのでアイデア勝負になりますね。
This year's HCS2013 Spotlight for motorcycles is Japanese makes based choppers. Unlike a Harley, there are few models for Japanese based choppers so it might be challenging.
