The top teams actually get to dial things in earlier at the raceway in Phoenix, Arizona but all the other teams have to use the first match of the season to get adjusted so there's a slight difference between the top teams and others. Scheduled for 2 runs each on Friday and Saturday, 4 runs total, Jim Dunn Racing was one of the 18 Funny Cars entered although only 16 of them ran. The first race was against the #1 Qualifier for Sunday\u2019s eliminations rounds. The elapsed time was a 4.243 against a 4.231 (sec) with a reaction time of 0.079 against a 0.118 (sec).
