been able to.<br><br>\r\n12 hours drive from shop in Santa Fe Springs(SFS), Bonneville Salt Flat in Wendover Utah, previously introduced on story about Race on El Mirage and Dry Lake, race is held by BNI on this Salt Flat made out of dried lake. In Middle of August, 10 days of Speed week is best to watch in BNI series race with highest numbers of race cars and gallery. But snow like salt reflects sun glare get you sun tan in 1 day and your skin will get pealed on 2nd day.<br>\r\nAnd Unfortunately its OBON week(Big Holiday) in Japan and Its not good time to leave my shop alone in Japan for those days. Week after \"Bonneville\", \"Laguna Seca\" is on which is the race I mentioned last Thursday, and week after that is the big Street Rodders event called \"West Coast National\" and than on the first weekend September is the Event called \"Labor Day Cruise\". USA summer season ends with this Labor day cruise but if I go to every event I will be out of Japan for whole month! <br><br>\r\nBonneville Speed Week is very historical race and will be 57th year this year. At this race course, many Land Speed Record has been made like so by \"Spirit of America\". And this race course doesn't have Prize money. One will get Trophy for breaking Speed record. If average 2way record goes over 200 mile or 300 mile on record run, one will be able to join the 200 mile club or 300 mile club. It was hard to get 200 miles in 50s but now days by the help of new technology member of 200 mile club has been increasing. <br><br>\r\nLike in Dry Lake, Bonneville is full of MOON Products like MOON Discs and MOON Fuel Tanks. Over 50 years MOONEYES product has been supporting Lake Racers. And MOON Products is \"Genuine made in USA products\" made in SFS. <br><br>\r\nWith increase of young racers on Rat Rod and younger generation who came to watch the race, it is getting harder to tell when the race was held on from looking at pictures. Back than It used to be full of old racers but recently young racers has increased and it is amazing to see how this change in generation are reflecting to environment of USA cars and Race industries. Few years back in Japan, Drag Race scene once became popular but now its soft and little quiet. Japan is not even close to compare as it always get full blown like fire works and fades away.<br><br>\r\nMOONEYES equals to Bonneville, Dean Moon was racing in Bonneville until very last. We started on this project 36 Ford to race on Bonneville, which is now up in air.
