The fate of the VW T-2 photo posted to the blog, would end up like this from a Staff member that fell asleep while driving.\r\n\r\n\u7b2c\u4e09\u4eac\u6d5c\u6e2f\u5317\u30a4\u30f3\u30bf\u30fc\u51fa\u53e3\u306e\u5206\u304b\u308c\u76ee\u306b\u307e\u3063\u3059\u3050\u7a81\u3063\u8fbc\u3093\u3060\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002\r\nComing off of Dai-san Keihin Highway, Kouhoku Exit, right on the off ramp where it begins, the car went straight into the median.\r\n\r\n\u6df1\u591c\u3001\u81ea\u5b85\u306b\u96fb\u8a71\u304c\u9cf4\u308a\r\nIt was late at night when my home phone rang.\r\n\r\n\u30b9\u30bf\u30c3\u30d5\uff1a\u300c\u3082\u3057\u3082\u3057\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u3067\u3059\u3002\u8eca\u3076\u3064\u304b\u3063\u3061\u3083\u3063\u3066\u52d5\u304b\u306a\u3044\u306e\u3067\u305d\u306e\u307e\u307e\u7f6e\u3044\u3066\u5e30\u3063\u3066\u3044\u3044\u3067\u3059\u304b\uff1f\u300d\r\nSTAFF: Hello? I was grateful it wasn't a drunken driving case so it was over quite quickly and we return home.\r\n\r\n\u3053\u306e\u9803\u3001\u4ed6\u306b\uff12\u53f0\u5c45\u7720\u308a\u3067\u5ec3\u8eca\u306b\u306a\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\r\nAround this time period, there were two other cars that were decommissioned.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"<\/a>\r\n\u305d\u306e\u4e00\u53f0\u306f Bonneville Racer\u3001Fred Larsen \u304c\u65b0\u8eca\u304b\u3089\u4e57\u308a\u6bce\u5e74Bonneville\u3067\u5f7c\u306eRace Car \u306e\uff30\uff55\uff53\uff48 \uff23\uff41\uff52\u3068\u3057\u3066\u6d3b\u8e8d\u3057 \u305d\u306e\u5f8c\u8b72\u3063\u3066\u3082\u3089\u3063\u305f 1969 El Camino \u3082\u96fb\u67f1\u306b\u3076\u3064\u304b\u3063\u3066\u5ec3\u8eca\u306b\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\r\nOne in particular was Bonneville Racing Legend, Fred Larsen's, purchased and owned since new, used every year as a Push Car for his race car at Bonneville, 1969 El Camino. It was crashed into a telephone pole and decommissioned.\r\n\r\n\u3053\u306e\u6642\u3082\u3001\u300c\u3082\u3000\u3082\u3000\u3082\u3057\u3000\u3082\u3057\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u300d \u5f53\u6642 \u55b6\u696d\u6642\u9593\u5916\u306e\u96fb\u8a71\u306f\u6050\u6016\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002\r\nWhen that accident happened I got the call again, \"Heh, h-hello?\" At the time, any phone call I got after hours I already knew something was wrong.\r\n\r\n\u3055\u3066\u5f15\u304d\u63da\u3052\u3066\u304d\u305f T-2 \u306f\u4fee\u7406\u4e0d\u80fd\u306a\u70ba\u5ec3\u8eca\u3002\r\nAnyway, back to the T-2 story. After I picked up the driver, it was determined not possible to repair the T-2 so it was decommisioned from road use.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\u30cf\u30a4\u30a8\u30ca\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u90e8\u54c1\u3092\u5916\u3059 T-2 \u30aa\u30fc\u30ca\u30fc\u306e\uff12\u4eba\u306e\u30b9\u30bf\u30c3\u30d5\u3068\u3076\u3064\u3051\u305f\u672c\u4eba\u3067\u3059\u3002\r\nLike a pack of Hyenas, these 3 guys took the parts off.
