The `54 Plymouth was back in the Garage, but this time for a screeching noise coming from the Rear Right wheel.<\/p>\n

Special tools were required in order to remove the drum and hub assembly.<\/p>\n

A custom puller made by Endo-sans Father.<\/p>\n

The hub was extremely difficult to remove. \u00a0Be sure to use Safety equipment if you do this type of work. \u00a0The amount of pressure pulling the hub could really cause some damage. \u00a0BE CAREFUL!!<\/p>\n

The old drum is a two piece type and one of the rivets that was used to hold the pieces together had come loose and was causing all kinds of noise and damage. \u00a0Luckily,the problem was fixed before anything major occurred.<\/p>\n

The rivet\u00a0was beginning to dig into the drum.<\/p>\n

The drum was cracked anyhow,so it was a better time than ever to replace it.<\/p>\n

New- wheel cylinder rebuild kit, brake drum, brake shoes, retainer clips and spring. \u00a0Nice and simple.<\/p>\n

The final assembly went rather smoothly.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, it wasn’t anything to major.<\/p>\n

The Plymouth was back on the road in a matter of hours, and braking safety was restored!!<\/p>\n
