So I will put period to it this time. Please bear with me for one more time.
After couple weeks since Wildman went to MOONEYES to order Mustang, received call from BOSS, Wild man was shown a picture. On the picture was totally unexpected '68 Shelby Cobra GT350(Shelby Mustang) one of the absolute Muscle car. "How did this happen? "asked BOSS for explanation and he explained. "Mach 1 with 428 didn't come out but this came out, don't you think this one is better?" and he recommended very easily. "I like this one too but I have no idea how much it will be" Wildman asked. "$12,000 for sale, that's what he says." Unbelievable. "$12,000 only?" Wildman with no ordinary value for money could even calculate $12,000 in Japanese YEN with dollar rate at \\160 per dollar, little less of 2 million yen. Back then proper Dealer imported Shelby Cobra cost at least 5 million yen, which was not realistic price to buy and was just a dream. (by the way in current 2007, Shelby Mustang market price in USA is $80,000 to $100,000. really just a dream car.) It was easily over the Mach 1 $7,000 to $8,000 price range but Shelby for only $12,000 was fact that got me in head. "$12,000, isn't there good ways to loan" so Wildman thinks. BOSS was saying "You don't have a chance like that, go ahead and buy it" And BOSS strongly recommended to buy it. It was obvious that price will be well over the budget when including Shipping and registration fee, but that was not so important any more and Wildman wanted this car in this picture in front of him. "I can borrow money again, if I can't register I have it as object to look at, lets buy this car! Only now, Now is the time to buy." And with precise decision of Wildman、Order was confirmed. From there everything went smooth (so as my debt) car came to Yokohama port, documents were ready and day to pick up car from port was getting closer. Custom clearance of car was done by Mysterious person who works from late in Afternoon, Mr. Hasegawa (current Hasegawa Manager). But all sudden the message was received "I got busy and can't go to pick up the car, sorry can you please go and pick up car?" How nice to get order like so. Wildman went to get "Temporary number plate" at city ward department but person at counter was not helping out. "That kind of personal imported car can’t use this temporary number plate" negative was his reaction. Went to Mooneyes to consult in depression, the man with glasses on and has that Sharp eyes who sometimes seen at shop gave Wild man an advice. "The ward department in our area is easy on giving one" Always arrive in Motomachi with crazy low Publica(old Toyotas) and can't be other than Joke like high lifted Toyota Hiluxes, mysterious person with sharp eyes was Mr.　KASAI of Deuce Factory (it was called "Public Spirit" back then) After getting Temporary plates, went to the port to get the car. There in the Warehouse, too beautiful fastback Mustang was looking this way. The Cobra emblems all over places, original roll bar and shoulder harness Seat belt, fiber hood, air scoop all the real Shelby details. "This is my car!" very moved. Quickly got seated and stepped on gas few times. Engine started so easy, unexpectedly. "This car must be a winning one!" decided by himself, stepped on gas like going gone but without power steering it was not going any where I wanted to go.　Driving like slow moped, first light turned red and stepped on brake to Stop but the car went drifting to left. "What is this car doing?" "Yes, Brakes only worked on one side." After that "Oh, the turn signal doesn't go back" "Hey, the brake light doesn't go on" gave hard time to beginners of American car owner. After that, handed car to Mr. Hasegawa to go to "S" factory in Tokyo which was the only place to get self imported old car to get Japanese car inspection passed and passed inspection with very expensive inspection fee (so high that couldn't pay and got discount) and finally '68 Shelby Cobra GT350 arrived with number plate on. The car was handed to me in Motomachi shopping arcade but still couldn't believe the fact that Wildman has imported car privately. Also couldn't believe the highest money loaned ever in life. It was well over the first budget and became the young king of debt but very happy days went by with childish dream of cruising HONMOKU Boulevard in old Mustang has became true. Made entry to the First Mooneyes Street Car Nationals, Drove on Fuji Speed way in TACS event, got own picture on car magazines, went to the favorite KISS live which had been ten years since the last and young blood made Wild man eager to do several wheel spin and engine didn’t start after that for a while, Searched and Made list of Gas stand with high octane gas, Dropped muffler while driving, Car stole in middle of Motomachi shopping arcade and a student working as a part time job whom now is the charisma Shop manager of Mooneyes Area-1 Mr. Narita had helped to push the car to the side of street. Happy and unhappy memory came one after another and Wildman got to know Coolor not so smart American Car Life, Its' all Wildmans' memory of Shelby Cobra GT350.　By ownning this car, my own American Life Style had started and finally became a pro Pinstriper. It was a trigger to change Wildman's life, GT350.(Five years went by with several delay in payment of annual car TAX)
Thank you everyone! This long story is complete now and this blog plans to be more normal blog from next issue.
Wildman own 1966 Shleby Mustang GT350 now.

またもや長くなってしまった前回からの続きの身分不相応のお話しは、このまま続きますと小説になってしまうので、今回にてピリオドを打ちますのでもう少しだけ長い長いブログとは思えないお話しにお付き合い下さい。 MOONEYESに...

[22
25
