about Motorcycle, but it’s about KISS.
Wildman's Blog has major topics like Mini cars, Sneakers, KISS, Super Cars, "How about Motorcycle for a change?!" and so he thought an orthodox school story can be left to Boss and Tank and for a story one can only read in Wildman’s Blog is a special story which probably non of his dearest readers have ever heard before.(not known to average Motor cycle enthusiast)Yes, KISS is involved in this story again.
The KISS great Rock band, was at the height of their popularity in mid 70s to late 70s and was eager to make more fortune by preparing amazing Merchandise attacks and Various KISS related Goods were sold in all kind of genre.
Profit were said to be more than their main Record sales and Various kind of KISS Goods like Toys such as Dolls, Radio Control cars, Plastic models, stationery, kids clothing and too much to list were filled in USA.(Most of these were not imported to Japan at that time so Wildman is collecting these original goods which was sold before 1980. )
So now the ultimate Collectors Item is the "HONDA KISS Mobile" which was made around 1979. "KISS Mobile? What is that? Is that a car?" is the usual reaction but it's a Motor cycle and it was not a Toy and a real Motor cycle. The attached picture is the poster for sales promotion, Wildman got to know About this Motor cycle from this poster. ( This poster has high price premium on Its own and really not possible to have a second copy) This Motor cycle which Gene and Paul are riding on is a HONDA Hawk! Really not Cool (Sorry owners). This Hawk is what Wildman's generation rode in Drivers Education. Back then Wildman was at Drivers education school for Motor cycle and recall very happy moment when bike was changed to New CBX400F.
Anyway this slow and not good looking Motorcycle had nickname "Kettle Tank" and Was one of the popular "ZOKUSHA" among the big brothers from "BOSOZOKU", So it was totally not interesting Motorcycle for Wildman. (Again no offense, apology to all owner ) This Motorcycle was released on 1977 was called “Hawk” for 250cc (15cui) and “Hawk II” for 400cc (24.5cui) but Wildman doesn’t know if this “KISS MOBILE" is which. Japan model has spoke wheel on 250cc(15cui) and brand new Cast Iron wheel products called "Comster wheel" was on 400cc(24.5cui). They both had front disc brakes but this "KISS mobile" has drum brake so may be its USA export version Wildman is not sure. (Please info, if anyone know Honda well )
Already the legend 4cylinders CB400Four had ended its production and was too late to use as a base and Hawk had to be the base but couldn't it be CB750 or Gold Wing? (Wildman really want to apologize for Hawk Owners) However! It's the KISS limited version! Custom Extreme color and strange graphics. KISS Logo are on Tank, seat, front folk and all four members name are on Side covers and muffler has KISS mobile badge is shinning. "This Hawk looks COOL like that!" Wildman think so! (Hawk Owner, Hawk is great!)
But now there are no news of this KISS mobile for sale. Wildman is very eager to buy like when he bout Mustang for a first time saying Will buy at any price (loan ), but again no information. Ofcourse Wildman has to find one in USA, but even the Heavy KISS collector in USA says they have not even seen one. If Wildman gets his chance he will like to get this ultimate KISS collector item badly.
(even just by parts like Tank..) But may be its not that hard to make one!

[22

about Motorcycle, but it’s about KISS.
