Ventura County fair groundといえば、古いビーチ沿いの街　Venturaのまさに海からすぐの巨大なフェアグラウンド、
ここで行われる "Chopper Fest "に行ってきました！

Ventura County Fair Ground is great fair ground by the beach at Ventura the old beach town.
The Chopper Fest is held every year there.

MOONEYES　USAの"Xmas Party"の翌日日曜だけに会場駐車場には両方見に来る人でいっぱい。
にしてもバイクの来る数はすごいです！昼前ですがかなりいっぱいになっていました。

As it is next day from MOONEYES “Xmas Party” there are many people went to see both shows.
But these numbers of bikes outside are really outstanding. Over full before lunch time.

David Mann　PickのAwardを飾っているのは真っ赤なパンヘッド。
相当キレイですが、このギラギラ感にピンスト、クロームとそこでCATSテール！やりました！

David Mann Pick Award was held by this red candy Pan head.
This glare paint, pin stripe and chrome, with cats tail !

こちらは、本日の豪華ギブアウェイのバイクです！なんとバイクが当たるんです！！しかも割りと手込んでいます！

This is a deluxe give a way! This cool bike! will be someone’s!
And this bike is well build too.

会場はとっても背の高いパームツリー（上を向かないと視界に入らないくらい）ときれいな芝生があって自然なシ―ブリーズがさわやかなところですが、サングラスしたごっついバイカーでいっぱいです。
さてブースで出展したのは、HCSでもおなじみのDicEマガジンのMatt、Old Gold GarageのDan Collins、Evil SpritのMichael Barragan、DeadEndマガジンのJesusとJuan もサリナスからジョインしていました。
スワップミートのブースは部品からウェアなど様々なグッズも販売！

The tall palm tree (actually you have to look up to find it) and nice clean grass with natural sea breeze,
It is very freshening place, but was filled with big bikers with glasses.
Booth entry seen there were Matt from DicE magazine, Dan Collins from Old Gold Garage,
Michael from Evil spirit, Jesus and Juan from Dead end Magazine from Salinas.
Swap meet booth were filled with parcxts and clothing.

走ってきました！と言わんばかりのバイクもいっぱい！

Many bikes were rode in to the show.

今回ショーバイクエリアでは、小さくまとめたバイクが何台かあり、なかでもペイントまでキレイに仕上がった、バーガンデイフレークとゴールドのレタリングが似合うアーリーショベルパンヘッドや、７０'sスタイルに近い細身のチョッパーでフレームやタンクもさながらシートも独特な形で、ペイントが柄入りのかなりこった物が数台目立っていました！
またブロンズやライトサーバーグリーンの大径ホイルで新しい路線をいく？バイクや、トライアンフのチョッパーやインデイアンのレーサーなど幅広い種類で、丁寧に作られたバイクが登場していました！
まだまだ色んなスタイルの新しいバイクが登場する雰囲気を感じることができ、是非！今後の展開も楽しみです！

Show bike area was filled with many bikes.
Among them was this early shovel pan head with burgundy paint and Gold leaf lettering.
There were many 70’s style and narrow well modified shapes for frame and seats, and paints were really amazing.
Also bikes with bronze and light server green painted large front wheels were showing new kind and Old school Triumph
Choppers and Indian racers were seen, making wide variety of kinds to see at show and really these bikes have time taken into it.
Great to see more new bikes coming out with different style and finishes, and probably more to see next year too.
