It’s all started from Shun "40 Years of Hot Rodding in Japan"
Special Talk Session
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, the 33rd YOKOHAMA HOT ROD CUSTOM SHOW will be held at Pacifico Yokohama. The spotlight feature for the car show is “40 Years of Hot Rodding in Japan”—showcasing Hot Rods and Street Rods from the 1908 Ford Model T to 1934 models.
The Deuce Factory Japan celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025. The history of Hot Rodding in Japan cannot be told without mentioning Shun Kasai. As a special anniversary project, a collection of Traditional Style Hot Rods and Street Rods—loved by Shun Kasai—will be on display at the venue. In addition, a special Talk Session will be held featuring MOONEYES Representative Shige Suganuma and Shun Kasai of The Deuce Factory.
The session will explore Shun Kasai’s 40-year journey of devotion to the 1932 Deuce, Hot Rods, and Street Rods in Japan. With the rare photographs from the era, we invite you to enjoy a look back at the rich history that has driven the 40 years in Japan.
