MOONEYES President Shige Suganuma was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS) in the US the other day. The Hall of Fame was established in 1960 to honor individuals who have supported the GNRS and contributed to the history of Hot Rod and Custom Culture. In the past, MOON Equipment Co. founder Dean MOON and MOONEYES USA President Chico Kodama have been inducted. And now, in 2026, Shige Suganuma has received this prestigious honor.

The award ceremony took place on January 30, Friday night at the Hall of Fame Dinner, where attendees enjoyed speeches by Chico Kodama and Shige Suganuma.
