昔、 日系の方々はLAの事を 羅府/Rafu と呼んでいたそうです。
It's a little bit old but this is the Japanese daily newspaper Rafu Shimpo. The newspaper has been in LA since before WWII. Well, in July, the came to the MQQNEYES USA Open House and printed about it in their lifestyle column. On a side note, a long time ago 1st & 2nd generation Japanese (Japanese-Americans) living in LA used to refer to Los Angeles as "RAFU".
