手前味噌ですが、5月21日(水) に70歳の誕生日を迎えました。いよいよ古希です。そんな古希を祝う為に Mr. Blue が横浜の復興のシンボルとして1927（昭和2）年に開業した山下公園の前にある老舗ホテル HOTEL NEW GRAND で盛大な Birthday Party を開催してもらいました。
It may sound self-congratulatory, but I turned 70 on Wednesday, May 21. I've officially reached Koki—the traditional celebration of one's 70th birthday in Japan. To mark the occasion, Mr. Blue organized me a grand birthday party at the historic HOTEL NEW GRAND, a long-standing hotel located in front of Yamashita Park, which opened in 1927 (Showa 2) as a symbol of Yokohama’s post-earthquake recovery.

今回パーティーが行われた会場は、ホテル創業当時のままのレインボーボールルームで開催されました。
国内、海外を含め、総勢200名を超える大変なパーティーとなってしました。パーティーにご参加いただいた皆様、改めてお礼申し上げます。
The party was held in the Rainbow Ballroom, which remains just as it was when the hotel first opened.
With over 200 guests from both Japan and abroad, it turned out to be quite a spectacular celebration. I would like to once again express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the occasion.
