今回はMOOEYES USA Xmas Party（MXP）のバイク編をお届けします。

車とバイク、かなり交わってきましたね。バイカーらしい出で立ちの人よりも、Dickies等を着用している人が多いのもHot Rod系イベントの特徴だと思います。
日本から飛行機でLAX(空港）に着き、窓から外を見ているとまず目にするのがDickies等の作業服を着た空港関係の人達ですが、 同じ格好で飛行機から降りて行くと空港関係者と間違われてしまうかもしれませんね。昨今のこの現象のお陰で、昔々からDickiesを制服にしていたMOONEYESでも、Dickiesを履くのを嫌っていたMOONEYESスタッフも今では抵抗なく履いています。いい事です。

さて今回のMXPに沢山のバイクも参加して来ました。数では圧倒的にHDが多いですが、勿論Triumphもかなりいました。Hot Rod系イベントにはTirumphが無くてはならないのです。でも仕上がり方が日本のTriumph達とは何かが違いますね。それはUSAはHot Roｄから始まったからでしょうか？それとも日本はバイク系から発生したからでしょうか？作り方が微妙に違いますがTriumphはカッコいいです。取り回しも大きさも、我々日本人にピッタリではありませんか。

This issue is about Motorcycle from MOONEYES USA Xmas Party(MXP). Cars and Motorcycle seems to came cross more. There were more people wearing clothing like Dickies than biker leather jacket and pants which I think is characteristics of Hot Rod events.

When arriving at LAX from Japan, first thing one see out of the air plane window is airport staff working in Dickies work cloths but if you walk out with same clothing people might mistaken you with the airport staff. MOONEYES uses Dickies for staff uniform from long time ago and there were times when some staff didn't like to wear Dickies but now days as Dickies clothing are getting popular every staff is wearing Dickies. It is a good thing. Dickies is the style now for them.

Now there were many Motorcycles at MXP. There were more of HD by far but Triumphs showed strong too. The Hot Rod style events needs Triumph at the show. But it seems to have different style of finishing compare to Triumphs in Japan.
