Valentine's Day weekend, NHRA Winternationals 今年も初戦の Winternationals と 最終戦の World Final は MQQNEYES Funny Car で参戦です。 Top Team は事前に Phoenix, Arizona の Raceway でしっかり走って Condition を整えてきますが そうで無い Team はこのレースが調整兼本番となります。 ですから事前に走って来た Team との差は歴然, 結果は Time にすぐ反映されます。 金土2回づつ計 4回の予選で Jim Dunn Racing は 18台エントリー中 本戦参加になる 16台中、 16位で予選通過、 本戦では予選 の #1 Qualifier (予選 1番) の車と走ったのです。 4.243 に対し 4.231 ですが Reaction Time が 0.079 に対し 0.118 で勝負が決まりました。 その他にも色々あり勝ってレースですが Luck が離れて行った様でした。 NHRA Winternationals was held during Valentine's Day weekend. We plan to run the MQQNEYES Funny Car at the first match and last match of the season, Winternationals and World Finals this year again. The top teams actually get to dial things in earlier at the raceway in Phoenix, Arizona but all the other teams have to use the first match of the season to get adjusted so there's a slight difference between the top teams and others. Scheduled for 2 runs each on Friday and Saturday, 4 runs total, Jim Dunn Racing was one of the 18 Funny Cars entered although only 16 of them ran. The first race was against the #1 Qualifier for Sunday’s eliminations rounds. The elapsed time was a 4.243 against a 4.231 (sec) with a reaction time of 0.079 against a 0.118 (sec). The race was decided off the line.
