Long Beach "LA Calendar Motorcycle Show"
I went to the 15th Annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show on Sunday July 16th for some research for our upcoming "Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2006" on Sunday December 3rd.
The location was excellent one by the sea, near by luxury passenger Vessel "Queen Mary".
I didn't know about this Show as it was first time for me to go but the quality of the motorcycle is very high and some builders build bikes for this show in mind. There were TV famous Chica of "Chica Motorcycle" and Mr. Kimura of "Chabott Engineering" displaying bike booth at the show. It is great to know that The Japanese Builder like Chica-san and Kimura-san are playing active roll in USA motorcycle scene.
The first bike that caught my eyes was this HD. It looked much smaller than the other HD in the show.
With nice paint and chrome I thought this HD was build by some builder in California but in fact it was build and brought by "KEN'S Factory Inc" from Nagoya, Japan and the paint was done by A. Kawaguchi who has done paint works for famous shops in Japan which as "Paradise Road" and "Vannuys ". This great paint works was matching with blue sky of Long beach, California.
The other paint work I liked was this one. There was category called Bar Hopper which I felt was most familiar and I like to introduce some bikes displayed at there. There was HD done by "KAIKADO" in Japan. And this HD was also made by Japanese builder. The Triumphs are also necessary bikes in this category. There was narrow HD(below) among this kind of HD(above).
And lastly this one.
There were so many others too but I just took picture of ones I liked most. Motorcycle world is very deep and very serious market |
