ムーンアイズのＴシャツは毎年新しいデザインを数点製作しています。
定番と呼べるイエローアイボールマークのTM001やMoon EquippedのアイシェイプのMQT002は元町ショップ創業時から21年以上ずっと販売しているおなじみのアイテムです（アメリカではディーンムーンの時代から半世紀の歴史があります!）

その時々のカスタムの流行にあわせたデザインやレース物、限定品等を合わせますとこれまでに数百種!のデザインがありました。それぞれ時期が来れば廃盤となり新しいデザインが発表となりましたが、そんな中でクルマのイラストが描かれているにもかかわらず15年も販売が続いている長寿デザインが1点あります。
それはTM055 Surf Side Cruisin'で、1992年のデザイン製作ですから販売開始から15年の年月が経ったにもかかわらず、カタログから落ちる事無く未だに販売が続いている脅威のロングセラーアイテムです。
当時Surf&Rodをテーマにし、クルマとサーフィンを合わせた物をデザインしてみようと思いイラストを描きましたが、まさかこんなに長く販売出来るとは考えても見ませんでした。
クルマのイラストは当時ムーンアイズが発表したばかりの'68VWタイプ3バリアント（スクエアバック）"Surf Square"と'65クラウンMasterline Van"Aqua Tudoor"の２台のイラストを描きました。
どちらも懐かしいクルマたちですが、いずれもどこかで存在しているという噂は聞きますので再会してみたいものです。
'92年当時このTシャツを購入された方も15年経ちましたので、もはや手元には無いと思われますがまだ販売しておりますので宜しくお願い致します。Wildmanのように、しつこく未だに持っているよという方は末永く大切にしてあげて下さい。

There are about couple hundred designs of T-Shirts including all limited edition, Race related and popular Customs at that time.
The each design has end and gets out of line ups and new design will come out but there is a One long seller design with car which has been selling for 15years.
