すっかり興奮したWildmanが「あの、バイクなんていうの?排気量は何シーシーなの?」とA君に尋ねると「カワサキのSSだよ、アニキのは250ccのエンジンを積み替えて350ccになってるんだぜ」と言いました。「エスエスっていうのか、エンジン積み替えるなんてさすが不良だな!」と思いましが、何よりもあのバイクの音とデザインに感動してしまいました。さてとこうなったらもっとあのバイクについて調べなければとWildmanのオタク心をくすぐったのです。

2 Stroke 3 cylinder, Wildman Motorcycle story Part 1
Wildman isn't that interested in Motorcycle until he was in junior high school.
He was crazy about Cars and Mini cars but didn't know much about motorcycle and had own belief of HONDA CB750 is the biggest and most superior bike. The side machine that appears on "JINZOU NINGEN KIKAIDA" TV hero series Was his favorite but didn't even know what it came from.
While Super Car Boom was ending in 1978, Wildman was in 2nd grade of Junior high school, busy every day on research for Mini cars and Old cars.
In second grade there was shuffle between the class, his school was and still is in 2007 famous for attendance of many local bad guys. There was local bad kid called "A" who was dressed in late 70s style Such as Regent hair style and fat trousers was sitting in front of him. (Wildman was second in row for Japanese alphabetical order and this a guy was the first) He found out later that As father was a Real ones.
"This guy may hit me in face, I hope not." Wildman was afraid. But "A" started to talk to Wildman. "You, you like cars right?" some how he knew hobby of Wildman.
"Yea, little bit, Mini cars" so Wildman said strange answer as usual.
Then "A" went on with technical words "I like cars too, like LB and SGX" LB was Toyota Celica lift back and SGX was Nissan Laurel and both was Typical 70s "BoSoZoku" (which means Wild Drive Tribes, name for socially Disrespected outlaw in group of cars and people.)
Wildman immediately replied "Prince is the brand for domestic cars, like Skyway, Clippers, Ford for American cars." As strange as usual but after having Little conversation Wildman found out that "A" had pretty good knowledge about cars. "A" was reader of "Holiday Auto" on column of "Oh! my Street Racer" Which report on "BoSoZoku" cars.
"When I get Drivers License I will get LB200GT with Solex carb and headers." "A" would say and Wildman will return saying " No, Its faster to make 18RG Engine with Bolt on Turbo kit." Like so with the most unrelated Bad guy, Wildman and "A" had Conversation constructed with maniac Car talk.
Plus "A" was talented to draw in "Manga" comic style illustration and Wildman was surprised to see as he thought he was good at drawing Cars.
One day, Wildman met "A" on the way home, walking in front of "Ogasawara stationary store" (local famous spot for Bad guys to lark) one Motor cycle came forward with great speed, loud exhaust note and white smoke. "Hey that's dangerous, what's up with this guy?" thought Wildman and that Motorcycle stopped in front of them.
"Hei, Yasu, you are on way home?" this really scarily guy was talking to "A". He looked just like "A" s with bad he 70s older brother. "So the brothers dress like same" Wildman was confident, Wildman thought "A"s brothers Motorcycle was really cool. While "A" and his brother was talking Wildman walked around observing the Motorcycle, it was strange with 2 mufflers on right side and one muffler on left side, paint on tank side covers and Wildmans favorite Tail cowl were all painted Gold. "I don't know about this Motorcycle but its really cool" Wildman was impressed which he didn’t really have to.
His brother left with loud exhaust not and three stream of smoke. Excited Wildman asked "A" "What is the name of the Motorcycle and What is the engine size?".
"A" answered "That's Kawasaki SS, my Bros is swapped engine from 250 (15cubic inch) to 350(21 cubic inch)" "SS, swapping motors that's typical Bad boy" thought Wildman but was impressed by that exhaust sound and design.
Now that Wildman was impressed, triggered his soul of "Otaku" he had to find out more about that Motorcycle.
So it will continue to next issue, and like to ask every one to Find out about SS too.
2ストローク3気筒、Wildmanオートバイ物語 Part 1
中学生になるまでオートバイにはさほど興味はありませんでした。
クルマとミニカーには狂っていましたが、バイクと言えばホンダCB750
が一番大きくて偉いという勝手な認識しか持っておりませんでした。人造人間キカイダーに出てくるサイドマシーンならとってもカッコイイから乗っても良いかなとも思っていましたが、この時点でサイドマシーンの実車が何の車種かも知りませんでした。
スーパーカーブームもそろそろ終わりとなる1978年、中学2年生になったWildmanでしたが、毎日ミニカーと旧車の研究に明け暮れていました。2年生になりクラス替えとなりましたが、わが母校岡村中学校というのは2007年現在でもそうらしいのですがとってもたくさんの不良と呼ばれる方々が多く生息する学校として有名でございました。
クラスメートにA君という誰がどう見ても70年代後半当時の不良のスタンダード（リーゼント＆ボンタン）といったスタイルで決めたヤツが前の席になりました（出席番号ではWildmanは石井なのでアイウエオ順ではいつも2番の確率が高く、A君のようにアで始まる名字の方が前の席でした）後で分った事なのですがA君のお父様は本物のヤ○ザ屋さんだったのでした・・・
「コイツ、大丈夫かな?いきなり殴られたらどうしよう・・・」と不安にかられました。なんて思っているとA君から話し掛けてきました。「オマエ、クルマが好きなんだって?」とどこから仕入れて来たのか知りませんがWildmanの趣味（習性）を知っていました。「うん、ミニカーを少々・・・」などとまた訳の分らない答えをしました。
A君が「俺もクルマが好きなんだ、LBとかSGXとかよ」と専門的な言葉を並べてきました。LBというのはセリカリフトバックでSGXはローレルという70年代暴走族の定番車輌の事でした。Wildman もすかさず「やっぱりクルマはプリンスだよね、スカイウェイとかクリッパーとか、アメ車はフォードだよね」と意味不明な返答をしましたが、
話しているうちにA君はかなりクルマの知識があることが判明致しました。A君はホリデーオートのOh!my街道レーサーという暴走族車輌の紹介記事を愛読し、Wildman はそれにプラスしてカーグラフィックとモーターマガジンを愛読していました。「オレは免許を取ったらLB2000GTにソレックス＆タコ足で決めるんだ」とA君が言えばWildmanは雑誌で読んだ頭でっかちの根拠の無い知識を元に「いや、そんな事をするよりも18RGエンジンはボルトオンターボのキットを組んだ方が絶対速くなるよ」と切り返していました。
本来絶対に交わらないはずの不良君とオタク（マニア）の関係はこうしてクルマの話題により会話が成りたって行きました。又、A君は不良のくせにマンガ風のイラストが異常に上手いという特性を持ち、車のイラストに関しては絶対的な自信を持っていたWildmanを驚かせました。ある日、学校の帰り道たまたまA君といっしょになり小笠原文具店（不良の巣窟）の前を通っていたとき、前方より物凄い爆音と白い煙が立ちこめ、１台のオートバイが物凄いスピードでこちらに向かって来たのです。「わお、危ない!なんじゃコイツは!!」と思うと目の前で止まりました。「おう、ヤス!今帰りかよ」ととっても恐そうなバイクの方がA君に話し掛けます。
よく見るとA君にそっくりな顔とそっくりな70年代的不良Lookをお持ちでした。そうですA君のお兄様だったのです。「ヤッパリ兄弟揃ってこうか・・」と納得していましたが、お兄様のオートバイを見ると何かとってもカッコよく見えました。A君とお兄様が会話しているうちに、オートバイの回りをグルグル廻って観察してみると、何とマフラーが右２本で左１本という変則的なレイアウトで、塗装はタンクもサイドカバーも、そしてWildmanがしびれたデザインのテールカウルも全部ゴールドでした。「このバイク何かしらんがカッコイイ!!」としなくてもいい感動をしてしまいました。そして恐いお兄様がギュワ～ンという爆音と３本の煙と共に立ち去りました。
