連載4回目を迎えてしまった恐怖の長編ブログは今回でこのお話に関してはピリオドを打つ予定です（書き始めのこの時点では・・・・）
ついに2ストローク3気筒のオートバイ、カワサキKH250を買ってしまったWildmanでしたが東京は赤羽まで引き取りに行くのはあまりにも面倒
くさくて（というより横浜まで運転して来るのが恐かったので）運送屋さんに運んでもらう事になりました。
家まで運んでもらうと少し料金が高かったので、運送屋の支店までという事にしてもらいバスを乗り継いでまだ何も無かった八景島そばの運送屋に出向きました（あのメンマ工場の近くでした！）Wildmanの心配性はこの頃からの専売特許で、プラグ３本と簡単な工具を持参したのは言うまでもありません。
ひっそりとたたずむ真っ赤なKH250を確認し、運送屋さんに鍵を渡されエンジン始動となりました。「何でみんなこっちを見てるんだよ、恥ずかしいな、エンジン掛からなかったらどうしよう」と思いましたが軽いキック数発で我KHは目覚めました。「やった、早く逃げよう!」と思い、さっさと運送屋を後にし、広い埋立地の道を走り始めました。この時点ではコイツは調子良く低回転ではバラン、バランといっていたエンジンは5000rpmを過ぎるとさすがマッハシリーズ、末弟とはいえ3気筒独特のクワーンというサウンドになり3本のマフラーから3本の煙を吐きこのバイクだけの世界となります。「バンザーイ！オレのトリプル！マッハじゃないけど気分はマッハだ！」と至福の時がやってきました。
あっちこっち走り回り、テニスに行くのもKH、ミニカー探しに行くのもKHとどこに行くのもKHとなりましたが、その数ヶ月後悲劇が待ち受けていました。ある時一人で（基本的にバイクは一人で乗るものと思っておりますので・・・）「よし、今日は三浦半島を一周してこよう」と思い立ち城ヶ島を回り、帰りは観音崎経由で横須賀を抜けて行きましょうと横須賀ストーリーを口ずさみながら走っていた所、観音崎周辺で何か調子が悪くなってきます。「なんだろう、カブッたのかな？」と思っているとエンジンが止まってしまいます。しかしキックするとすぐに掛かり走る事は出来ます。何回かそんな事を繰り返し走っていましたが、直線を70kmくらいで走行していた所、突然ギュワーンと後輪がロックし転びそうになりましたが、ヘタなくせに偶然クラッチを切り何とか止まる事が出来ました（カーブだったらどうなっていた事でしょう・・・）
「アー、恐かった！！何、何？どうしちゃったのこのバイク？」と思うとエンジンは完全に止まっています。キックをしようとするとキックペダルはびくともしません。一瞬パニック状態になるWildmanでしたが時間が少し経ち冷静に考えてみると「これは恐ろしい事に違いない、エンジン焼き付きではないか!!!」と結論が出ました。ハイ、見事に焼きついておりました。購入後ろくに整備もせず走っていましたが、特に異常は感じられなかったので（未熟者だったので）今思えば走りっぱしに近い状態だったのです。「やってしまった・・・どうしよう」と途方にくれましたが、まだ4輪の免許も無く、レンタカーのトラック等で運ぶ事も出来ません。バイクの周りをウロウロしていると目の前のお菓子屋さん（ほとんど駄菓子屋さん）のオバサンが出てきて「なに、お兄さんどうしたの」と声を掛けてきます。「どうしたもこうしたもバイクが動かなくなっちゃったんです」と情けない説明をするとオバサンが「電話を貸してあげるからバイク屋さんに電話すれば」と温かいお言葉が!!（昭和50年代ですから携帯電話なんてありませんので）オバサンに感動しながらバイク屋に電話をし状況を説明すると完全に焼き付きとの答えを頂きました。「今からでは取りに行けないから、納車した時の運送屋を明日行かせるよ」との指令が出ました。「明日って言われても・・・どうしようこのバイク」と困り果てると又もオバサンが「一晩だったらウチの店に置いておけば、預かってあげるよ」と信じがたいお言葉を頂きました。「なんていい人なのこのオバサマは!!偶然この駄菓子屋さんの前で壊れて本当に良かった!!」と感動のWildmanでした。もう閉店まぎわだったので、KHを店の片隅に入れてさせて頂き、オバサマに最敬礼をしその日は立ち去り、次の日にもう一度出向き、運送屋にKHを引き渡しました。その日以来オバサマを「観音崎の観音様」と呼ぶ事にし、お店の前を通る時はいつも最敬礼をしていましたが、10年くらい前にお店の前を通った所、お店は無くなっておりました。寂しい限りです。
また話が長くなってしまいましたが、ＫＨはエンジンOHと言う事になり、この頃はトリプルのパーツもまだ出ていたので、比較的早く直って公道に復帰しました。嬉しいけど又借金が増えてまだ10代でしたが人生を見直しはじめました。
1枚目の画像はOH後慣らし運転を兼ねて日光までツーリングに行った時の物です。

ある時多少の雪が降っていてもバイクは走れるのかと思い実験の為、雪の降る町をバイト先にKHで向かった所、自宅より100mくらい走ったら思いっきり雪ですっころび地面にたたきつけられるWildmanでした。
その時赤タンクにキズが付き嫌になりメタリックグリーンの外装を入手し、カエル君になったのが2枚目の画像で、永い間この色で乗っておりました。
その後4輪の免許も取得しましたがこのKHにはまだずーっと乗っておりました。気に入ってはいたのですが頭の中にはマッハの幻影がちらつき「やっぱりマッハに乗りたいな」と心の中で思っていました。
そんなこんなで1985年になり、ある時バイク雑誌を眺めているとモノクロページの中古屋の広告にカワサキ350SS 昭和46年型 車検2年付、上物、応談というCMを発見「ワオー!マッハだ!!しかも初期型の白レインボー350だ!」と興奮のWildmanはすぐに受話器を握っておりました。
と言う事で今回で終了予定のこのお話でしたがヤッパリ無理なので、次回第5回目は完結編「KHからマッハへ、真のトリプルの実力を見た!納得のWildman」へとお話は続きます。本当で次回で終わらせます、すみません・・・

Wildman Finally purchased "3cylinder 2 stroke" motorcycle, Kawasaki KH250 but couldn't be bothered to ride back from Tokyo Akabane(which is on North side) to Yokohama (which is on South side) so called for transporter to take it back home. (but truth was he was afraid, wasn’t ready to ride it back home)
It was little expensive to get KH home so Wildman took many bus to pick up at Transporters branch in "Hakkei Jima" where there was still nothing, just open land (near the Menma Factory he worked before) Wildman was a worrier from this time and brought 3 plug and tools for Just in case.
Checked out the blight red KH250 standing still and transporter man handed out the key, it was time to start up the engine. "Hei, why is every body looking at me? Gets me embarrassed if I can't get it started now" but easy few kicks his KH was a wake. "Alright, let's get out of here!" thought Wildman and left the transporters branch and went on to the wide road on open reclaimed land.
At that moment the bike was in good condition, With low RPM it was rumbling a bit but above 5000rpm even though it was smallest, It showed it was a Mach series.
Unique Sound of 3cylinder and 3 smoke stream from 3 mufflers Welcomed him to the own world of KH. "Banzai!! My triple not Mach but feel like Mach man!!" and present happy time had came.
He went every where, used KH for going to Tennis, looking for Mini cars on KH,
Anywhere He goes he will take KH but few months later the tragedy was waiting for him. One time he was on his own (Wildman thinks bike is to ride by one, basically)
"Right, lets go around MIURA south end of local prefecture" so he rode, went to the "Jyoga Shima" little island on south end, next his idea was to go through KANNONZAKI,YOKOSUKA and home.
He was singing "YOKOSUKA Story" while riding smoothly But the KH started to go strange in Kannonzaki. "What happened, Over dose gas?" but the engine died out while Wild man tried to figure out the reason.
KH started right way again when he gave few kicks on kick pedals. Wildman did that kick start couple times to run and while going about 43 miles per hour, all sudden KH Rear wheel was locked with noise. Wildman almost fell but managed to get hold on clutch lever even though he was not greatest rider he was able to stop. (He was lucky that he was not on the curve)
"Few, That was scarily. What? What? What happened to this Bike?" While he was figuring out, the engine stopped again, but this time for good. It was perfectly gone. He tried to Kick but pedals will not move.
For a moment Wildman got panic but with a little time he calm down to realize, "This must be a terrifying thing. I must have Burn up this Engine!!!" So he gave this final conclusion. Yes, Engine was burnt on, stuck as you call. Didn't have proper maintenance, kept riding it and didn’t even feel anything wrong (didn't know enough) come to think of it he run too much.
"OH, so that's it done, finished, what can I do!" Wildman didn’t have drivers license for a car and couldn’t even rent a truck to take KH home. Wildman was walking around the KH and the old lady from confectionary in front of KH (actually More like the cheap snack store) came out, "What happened young man?" said she.
"What happened? My motorcycle broke down and doesn't run." with such a weak explanation, She said "Why don't you use our phone and call your motorcycle shop?" very nice and heart warming words came out of her! (its in the 80s and no cell phone at that time) Very surprised for nice old lady and called the Motor cycle shop to explain the Situation only to confirm that engine did burn and stuck inside.
"Cant go to pick it up now, will get the transporter to go tomorrow" so the order came out. "Tomorrow? What I am going to do with this bike?" Very out of luck and comes the old lady again, "Why don't you leave your Bike in our shop, We can hold it for you for one night." and again she was very nice to give this unbelievable offer.
"How nice is She?! I must have been lucky to stop in front of this Mom-and Pap candy store!!" Wildman was very impressed. As Shop was about to close, Wildman brought in KH inside the sweet shop and thanked old lady for her kindness and left for that day. Next day he went there to hand over KH to the transporter.
Since that day Wildman decided to call her the "KANNON SAMA of KANNON ZAKI" (Goddess of Mercy at place called "Goddess of Mercys cape" in Japanese) and he would bow every time he passed by that shop but in last time he went in 10years ago the shop was no longer there. Sad really. The story got long again, KH engine needed overhaul and triple parts were still Available back then so it was quickly back on road again.
Wildman was pleased but the debt increased again and made him to think again about his life At the age of teens.
The first picture was taken in first touring to Nikko after the Overhaul as break in run was double planned. By the way, Wildman wouldn't go to Nikko on motorcycle now, not hyper enough.
Wildman thought you can ride a bike on some or little snow day and tried to find out. He rode his KH out to town to go to his part time job and made skid in first 100m out of his house and Wildman was smacked to the ground.
That's when the Red Tank got scratched and he lost interest in Red Scratched Tank. Wildman purchased Metallic Green exterior and turned KH to a Frog look, like in second picture and kept KH like this for a long time.
Even after getting license to drive a car, Wildman continued to ride on this KH. He liked this KH but still had dreams of owning Mach in his head and "still wantde to ride Mach" in his mind.
So like that it was 1985. One day Wildman was looking at some Motor cycle magazine and mono tone page showed add of used Kawasaki 350SS 1971model, with car inspection done, great condition, ask for price. "Waoh! It's a Mach!! And first model white rainbow 350!!" Wildman was excited and already had a phone in his hand.
So, the Wildmans story didn't end, again. It will be continuing to next 5th issue! The last(?!) complete "KH to Mach, experience the True Triple Power! Convinced Wildman!" will be on next blog.
