Art of Speed Asia 2014
3回目になりこのイベントに昨年に続き行ってきました。
場所は Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia です。
暑かった！！
イベント参加地の地名を入れて作ったステッカー。
今年はドイツ、マレーシア、ベルギー, スエーデン、インドネシアの各地で配ります。
Art of Speed Asia 2014
It was the third time this event was held and continuing my visit last year, I was there again. It was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and it was hot!!
This is our official sticker we made for the event.
This year we made one for Malaysia, Belgium, Sweden and Indonesia to distribute to fans.
Air Asia X の深夜便で出発
We took off on the red eye flight via Air Asia X.
搭乗前からすでにトラブル、 Flat-4 の Nao君と SpeedHunters の Dino がダブルブッキング。
二人ともシートはあったの一安心。
There was a slight mix up before the trip even started. Nao from Flat-4 and Dino of SpeedHunters had the same boading pass and seat number. It was figured out and they each got their own seat.
シートに座っていると前方から聞き覚えのある 2サイクルの様な甲高い音(声）
As we were seated, I could hear the familiar laughter like a high pitched 2-cycle engine coming from ahead.
やっぱり The Nash でした～。
これから４日間も一緒か~~~.
Sure enough, it was The Nash.
We'll be together for the next 4 nights...
Door Side の Hot Seat 足下が広くて楽です。
しかも何か時は真っ先に！？
Door side Hot Seats are great because of the legroom.
The Nash Group と一緒に左から、 Makoto, Wildman & Steve, Mr.G, Boo and Jet Wrench.

SCN会場と間違えたかと思うくらい。
パーフェクトなMQQNEYES仕様です。
This photo can easily be mistaken for one taken at SCN event. It's a perfect MQQNEYES theme.
このステッカーは販売している物より少し小さかったです。
This sticker looked a little smaller than the actual one we sold.
このカローラは王道でした。
This Corolla was fit for royalty it was so nice.
Oh, スカイラインか！ と思ったのですが
Oh, a Skyline! Is what I thought at first...
サニーピックアップでした。
これ流行っているようです。
But it was a Sunny Truck (Datsun pickup) with a popular add-on feature.
結構しっかりしていた RX-3, オーバーフェンダー。
こう言うのは昔々 散々見た事があるので何とも言えません。
少なくとも世の中がざわざわしていた時代の産物。
This RX-3 with fenders flares was finished really nice.
This style, a very long time ago, I can remember seeing these but that is all.
For the least bit it was a time when they were very noisy cars.
これもサニーピックアップそしてオーバーフェンダー
This is another Sunny Truck with fender flares.

A Toyota Publica turned Rat Rod. Very creative.

と言う事で MQQNEYES Pick はこの One Low LQQK の '66 T-1 へ
I chose this '66 T-1 as the MQQNEYES Pick this year for its One Low LQQK. Congratulations Lawson!
受賞の記念写真を撮っていたら 突然「何故このクルマなんだ！」と凄い剣幕。
主催者の Asep君(左）と 2人で当惑気味です。
As we were taking photos with the winner, out of no where this lady suddenly started to ask, "Why this car?!" She was almost threatening. Asep (left) and the two of us were puzzled to say the least.
Asep君、どこか行って来いよって 手を振って追い出してくれました。
Asep, waving his hands saying to go for a drive and come back later.
何処かに行くにも大渋滞で動けません。
It was so crowded and traffic was heavy, we weren't going anywhere far.
インドネシアのジャクソンも同乗。
Jackson from Indonesia came along for the ride.
途中、バスが壊れたらしく昼寝をしている様です。
寝るのは良いけど敷物をちゃんと持っているのが凄い！
On the way, a bus was broken down and the owners were taking a break outside.
I understand sleeping but to have something to lay down on hand is awesome!
